It's about time they port µTorrent to the Mac. Vuze/Azureus just doesn't cut it for me. I especially find it ridiculous the "normal" torrent screen is organized under "advanced options" menu.
I only wish if it would handle labels better. We need filters!
Er, for what? RSS feeds?
On a semi-related note, why does my torrent sometimes have a small download rate when (seemingly) the entire torrent is done (read: when the "done" meter is at 100%)?
It's only semi-related because it did it on the old utorrent, not just 1.8

I can give two possibilities:- 1) The download speed is a moving average, so it takes time for the average to go to 0kB/s even when the actual speed is 0kB/s. 2) In order to upload, you must also receive data. This may be counted.

Does WINE work on Mac? Cause when I was using ubuntu I still used utorrent cause it ran great using WINE.

Connection packets. Like DHT, tracker requests, piece requests. It just means you are still connected and people are asking for stuff from you. In other words, lackofcheese's second possibility is the correct one.

Doesn't Wine work on Macs? Or something similar? µTorrent is being developed with greatest compatibility in mind, they aim to make sure it runs on every Windows from 95 onwards AND Wine.

That is what I'm wondering about too. Trogdor, how many labels do you have? o.O
EDIT:

They should be modeled after GMail's filters. It'd be nice if all of my TV shows went into their own folders automatically. I don't use any RSS feeds, but I will always swear by ted: torrent episode downloader. At the moment, I don't use labels either because it's too much of a hassle and it's not worth it. However, I have a pile of GMail labels, all associated with filters. The label management seems kind of shoddy and added in as an afterthought.
One example of a filter would be: If the title contains "The Daily Show" put it in label "The Daily Show."
@ Trogdor - Valid points, but rather useless if you ask me. You can, with spending a total of 5 more seconds have your torrent files in a suitable directory (e.g. A 'Daily Show' folder in your 'TV Shows' folder which resides in your 'Torrents' folder), the (to be) downloaded files put in their proper directory (e.g. a folder named 'Daily Show' somewhere on your hard drive, perhaps in a 'TV Shows' folder again, which resides on your e: root), and have it labelled 'Daily Show' in µTorrent.
It would be nice if you could make a text file with some rules in it and µTorrent would load those and follow them, but in the mean time you'll just have to set up your own small system.
I thought we were all in the U.S. Doesn't matter, people outside don't matter, especially that "myself" character. :P
Honestly I never use filters or RSS downloading. Even when I was following some anime series episode by episode (which is quite rare, I did it with Death Note and maybe 1-2 other shows), just manually adding an episode here and there isn't really that big of a deal.
