Making Flyers

edited August 2008 in Everything Else
At the last few events, the crew has been handing out flyers with an add on the back for the printer. They offered hundreds of glossies for $30. I lost the original and was hoping that someone could point me to the web site for the service they used.

And make sure to stay tuned. I'm hoping to secure an interview time for Rym and Scott sometime in the next few weeks. Keep it live, brothers!

  • clubflyers are the people who give a free box of flyers if you let them put their advertisement on the back. They're ok for actually making real flyers, but plenty of other places do the same thing as they do, sometimes cheaper. They're just smarter at advertising.

Only get small runs to begin with, a few hundred at most, as you'll you will probably want to refine the design several times. I've been laser printing fliers for about half a year (I run a computer help service) and want to make sure I get the design just right before going for big runs.

  • Any other recommendations for flyers? I don't seem to recall that the recent GeekNights flyers still had the ad on the back?
