I don't really think it's deserving of the top of the reading pile.
I'm sure there are more important things in the pile if he JUST got to reading Dark Night Returns. Just put it on the bottom so that you'll have an episode to do in a year or two. Or, better yet, put a DVD into the Netflix queue.
I would like to hear you guys talk about - Michael Moore - presidential elections (2008 or in general) - horror movies - importing games - roadtrips or traveling in general - collectible card games - infinity (in math or other science) - utopian and dystopian futures - fraternities - health care - MMORPGs - portable audio players or just the iPod
I'd love to see more shows about movies you like. I mean, I guess it's kind of infringing on Movies You Should See or Greatest Movie Ever territory, but I'd love to hear about some of your favorite or least favorite movies.

A review of your favourite and least favourite pod-casts.
Also, has there ever been a Ghost in the Shell show at all? Movie(s) or series? There should be.
