Dude if you love this mod you gotta try out Zombie Master. Personally I think its uber kool. Most servers have this RPG add on (+1 health, +1 speed etc.) to it that make it even better.
I'm another one in the tried it before camp. It's a nice mod, but I had a few gripes with it. One, the zombies are slow, two, there are too few of them, three, I found it be rather boring when I was zombified, four, the survivors can very easily win by just barricading themselves in. I personally prefer Zombie Master over Zombie Panic, seeing as it has a lot more zombies of various kinds with different 'skills'. The downside is, if you die, you're dead, and you have to wait till every survivor is dead, or till the survivors win. And it has a few more problems with hit boxes, but I personally prefer it.
EDIT: Darn, ninja'd. I agree, that add-on allows for some fun, but it quickly grows out of hand and results in the game being somewhat unbalanced in favour of the Survivors. 250+HP, regenerating 5hp/3seconds, regen 10 ammo/8seconds, and running at 225.0 base speed. Glitching with the geometry also becomes a problem at that point.
Hey, yeah, I also like Zombie Master, though I haven't played Zombie Panic. Who would've known that other people here had even played Zombie Master? Also, I disapprove of RPG-mod addons to it and the like. Seriously, though, Zombie Master is a game with SHITLOADS of untapped potential. The essential gameplay mechanic is plain awesome (One player playing with Zombies in an RTS style vs an entire team of survivors = idea of epic win), but the greatest limiting factor is map design. Designing good objectives, and balancing the Zombie Master against the survivors, is extremely difficult, and you very rarely see it done well. Most of the time, the Zombie Master has to cut the survivors a bit of a slack for an entertaining game. The minor bugs are also an annoyance.

But it does make perfect sense =D Actually, Zombie Master is a game some people on these forums could play without being in different countries being too much of a problem; High ping is reasonably tolerable in ZM.

So in other words, what Rym disapproves of is, for example, the events of the previous map affecting the in-game situation within the current one (i.e. in CS you get a magic spell(wtf??) in de_dust2 and you get to keep that magic spell when the server switches to de_aztec)
Well, I don't play CS, but I understand what you mean. Thats basically what happens in the game GUNZ.
Also Gunz skill is all about being able to used bugs in the game to your advantage, not actually playing the game the way it was intended. That kind of bugs me.

Yup. Last night I was playing a game with lackofcheese, the server finally filled up and became awesome. So I was the last mental patient still alive (we played the Asylum map) and since I never played the map before that day I did not know what to do. So I dropped my empty rifle, dropped my empty pistol, got my crowbar, ran towards the shamblers, took a swing and they all died.
Yes, I am that awesome. Then people complained a bit because they wanted to spawn, so I said fuck you ZM got a MAC, and unloaded it on an explosive barrel... Only to be the one person who was dead seeing as the ZM timed resurrecting other players just as I blew up myself so a new round could start. The bastard. But I know why he did it. You see, these other survivors had died before, they were infected, if they know it or not. The ZM thus let a few escape as to get his plague outside of the asylum and TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

Dude, GASDUMP FOR THE FUCKIN WIN!!!! I was ZM there and saved up all my money and unleashed hurricane after hurricane there, then camped the C4 with banshees and hulks... Good times, good times.
