  • and this is why we have such a brilliant game to play.
  • Wow, there are actual Linux binaries, no wine nonsense. Awesome.
  • I have a quick question. In the Tribes 2 read me file it says to copy the cleanDSO.vl2 file into the scripts folder which is supposed to be in the base folder. There isn't a scripts folder there. There is one in the Classic folder. So do I put the cleanDSO.vl2 in the Classic folder that has a scripts folder. Or do I make a scripts folder in the base folder? Thanks.
  • Make a scripts folder in the base folder.

    Weird, I must have been just really tired last night. Because when I came home from work and looked again in the base folder there is a scripts folder and it has a bunch of files in it.

  • Probably appears when you first run the game.
  • Just applied the Tribes Next patch. Works fine with applied alternate server patch. Now instead of starting up Tribes 2 from the Solo & LAN shortcut, you now can start up the game from the online shortcut and you can create an account. The server list seems to be the same but I haven't played long enough to till the difference. So I'm not really sure what benefit I get from having my own personal account. Still pretty cool though. :)
  • We set up a base behind their base so we could cap while we capped.
    Old Meme is Old.

    And yet I've never heard you call anyone for referencing Over 9,000.
  • So with the LAN Internet hack thing, you need no CD key *takes deep breath* This *takes deep breath* is takes deep breath* awesome!

    Old meme is classic when used appropriately.

    @ElJoe0 Yes, awesome, isn't it?

    I'm not sure the Tribes Next thing gives any advantage over the normal hack.

    I've been lurking at the support forums of Tribes Next. The login system is not perfect and you can be locked out of your account for various reasons. So it's probably a good idea to have the alternative server patch as a backup just in case.
