But if the captain or some such wrote a book, it would sell big time.
Yeah I really didn't think of that. I've already seen many people complementing him and wondering who he is as a person. I doubt he will write a book based on his background unless he is pushed into doing it. He seems like a stand up guy that just likes what he is doing and doesn't expect anything in return. Hey I might even read his book if it included stories from his military past and his experiences as a pilot during that period.
i wonder if someone will make a movie of this tragedy? i know someone will at least get a book deal.
I highly doubt it since there is no one to exploit. Not many are grieving over this mishap and that means no profit in their eyes.
That, plus the fact that it is NOT, in fact, a tragedy. Not a single person died, and injuries were mostly minor. For it to be considered a tragedy, much more badness would have had to happen. People are considering it a miracle, which is pretty much the other end of the spectrum.
The flight crew did an amazing job. I hope they get medals.
Cabin crew, also - people are focusing on the pilots, but without the cabin crew, all they would have achieved is a brilliantly executed water landing and cabin full of soggy drowned corpses.
Flight Crew - All the employees — pilot, co-pilot, and flight attendants — working on an aircraft.
