The main reason I mention the square gate though is that people may buy the stick expecting to be able to "roll" across the edge. Which with a Hori you can not.
Yeah, that was what I always did playing SF2 in the arcades, which all had Happ "baseball bat" sticks. I understand that Japanese-style sticks can take some getting used to. If Fed-ex tracking is correct, I should find out within 5 hours.

*sound of head hitting desk* This perfectly explains why on the 360 Analog Stick, I always accidentally perform an EX Shoryuken instead of an Ultra with Ken or Ryu about half the time. Good thing I got the pad now.
Speaking of the type of arcade sticks, I prefer the "ball" types, since the way you grip them doesn't strain your wrist as much. Actually, I hold the "baseball bat" sticks a similar way when I think about it; palm on top, stick between the middle and ring fingers.
