Yeah, great; more videos not available in my country due to copyright restrictions.
uTorrent + tokyotosho ftw, though FMA: Brotherhood kinda sucks anyway.

Also, supposedly that channel has been around for quite a while.

This has been going on for a while. I believe all of the old 80s Astro Boy is up there. It's mostly Funimation stuff, and KyoAni, from what I've heard.
  • That's pretty cool. This looks legit and it's in high quality.

Though, Funimation has all their stuff streaming on their site. Yes, they have all the Harlock episodes streaming, and I believe it's all subbed.

I understand all of it, you idiot. Just because I live in a third-world backwater country doesn't mean I can't bitch about it...

Also, unlike some ISPs in this one first-world country I keep hearing about (though not your ISP I guess), one that seems to think it's the ultimate force for good in the world, my ISP doesn't fuck with my ability to torrent a shitload.

Oh, so you have to live in one to get Hulu. That explains why they're launching it in the UK in a few months, economy should be pretty moldy by then.

Well, you can't cater exclusively to the elite few. Eventually the unwashed masses must get Hulu to prevent uprisings and whatnot.

    Let them eat cake!

    Nyoro-n was hilarious.

Dammit, now I once more crave money for a 24/7 terabyte server to just suck down anime via IRC and torrents continuously, forever, everywhere.

  • What is it with 4-chan and the SDNs? Is this some joke that I don't get? Is this actually a thing that is common in hentai?

No, it's an extreme portrayed as the norm in order to invoke laughter.

More related to the topic than what the discussion as turned into:

As my latest Summer distraction activity, I have been watching Sailor Moon through YouTube. My goal is to get through all 5 seasons of the Japanese version (with subtitles). This is my attempt at being entirely legal, yet not having to pay for it.

EDIT: Apparently this isn't legal either. Gosh darnit.

Both Nyoro-n and Haruhi-chan were hilarious. I'd buy that shit.

That's not an official feed so get it while it lasts.

SSH -D + Server in US = win.
  • True, but I don't have a server in the US I can use.

    tor?

Tor works much too slowly from where I am. Plus it's not guaranteed to give me something in the U.S.

That doesn't mean it has its place, however. I use it to get through the CIPA filter at school when I'm bored in study hall, but it's not good for much more than Engadget/Kotaku, webcomics, and Facebook. There's no hope of getting anything from YouTube or CollegeHumor.

According to the Youtube info they were uploaded about a year ago. So no hurry, really.

I would rather have access to iplayer and 4oD then watch tv shows on youtube so in that way I'm far better off living in this backwater country.

You used to be able to get 4oD back in Australia, but I don't know if you can anymore.
