http://www.gdgt.com is the new site from Peter Rojas and Ryan Block, creators of Gizmodo and Engadget, the biggest tech blogs in the universe. It's much awaited launch is any second now.

I hope it's a community site that helps to connect people who have the same gadgets, and are interested int he same gadget categories.

    gdgt under heavy load right now, but seems to be looking like a great site.

    Yes, looks very useful. I'm gonna have to go there when making gadget decisions from now on.

    So they got inundated with traffic and couldn't handle it. You would think being such smart people, and having had all this time, they would have been prepared for that.

    Excellent. This website looks like an interesting resource for specific gadget discussion, akin to the GameFAQ's message boards. Hopefully, it won't be inundated with product fanboys.
