    IFC bought exclusive distribution rights, meaning that it's probably never going to be shown in a theater anywhere.

    They'd probably be more likely to offer it on their On-Demand pay service.

    I guess you know something I don't. A good portion of the catalog that IFC Films bought the rights to. Have seen some kind of limited release in theaters.

    "Limited" is the key word. Let me phrase it another way: I saw no showings posted in New York City. Ergo, the film effectively doesn't exist in theaters. :P
