I just ordered that book. If you want to learn more about string theory look into The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. Also look at the pbs series based on the same book.
Is the book as easy to follow as the flash thing? I only ask because the flash was interesting but still understnadable, but from what I've heard of the string theory it seems to be much more complicated than this.
I don't know I ordered it the other day, so I still don't have it yet. The Elegant Universe seems easy enough, not too many equations and it explains everything pretty well. However I do this type of reading on a pretty regular basis and I'm not sure how extensive your background is on theoretical physics. I would encourage you to look around the area though. Another good author is Charles Seife.
