Movies you can watch over and over again
What movies can you watch over and over again and still enjoy?
I'll kick this thread off with two obvious choices:
- Attack the Gas Station - Provided I have a new group to watch it with each time. I have seen this film at least seven times, and will probably see it a few more in college.
- Star Wars Original Trilogy
Comments
Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth), LotR trilogy, Princess Bride, Blazing Saddles, Harvey, 12 Angry Men, Inherit the Wind, The Lion in Winter, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967), Psycho Beach Party, To Kill a Mockingbird, Stargate, Labyrinth, Bringing Up Baby, Love Actually, Serenity, The Seven Year Itch, Sabrina, Sweet Charity, Little Voice, the list could go on and on.
I can re-watch a lot of of older movies without tiring of them, particularly if they have one of the following actors in them: Audrey Hepburn, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant, Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, and again the list could go on and on.
- Fifth Element
- Serenity
- Disney/Pixar Movies
Many more, but those are the ones that came to mind.I still can't get enough of them.
Without spending too much time thinking about it -- Evil Dead II, The Road Warrior/Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, Repo Man, the original Star Wars movies, Pulp Fiction, most of Wes Anderson's films, and I can't believe no one said Blade Runner yet.
