Questions about retro gaming?

edited September 2009 in Video Games
A couple of weekd ago I found a place that is 30 miles away from my home where I can find old nes and snes games. I feel a little nostalgic since they also sell the nes and the snes system. However, they also sell the hybrids (the consoles where you can play the nes and the snes games). However, I do not know how good those systems are. I sold my two systems a long time ago (back when I lived in Peru), and now that I am working I would like to get them back. However, I also found out that the Wii might go down in price so I do not know if I should wait.
What do you guys think I should do?

  • At PAX they were using some of those newer NES/SNES clone machines. They worked quite well.
  • I've used all three hybrids that thinkgeek sells, the NES/Snes, Gen/NES and the Wireless portable NES, all have worked with my cartridges with no problems at all.
