Not really a thing of the day, but maybe something web designers will care to use in the future.

First handmade subpixel type family, ever

This only works on LCD screens:

    Try these on for size:

    This only works on LCD screens:
    LCD screens that have the correct subpixel order. It will look horrible on any other LCD monitor, and that's the reason why you should just let the OS do the subpixel work.
