I was just reading a rather fascinating summary of a panel that was presented at the Austin Game Developer's Conference a few weeks ago. The title of the panel is "Randomness: Blight or Bane?" The panel is presented in full on the presenters website. Because I enjoyed the article as much as I did, and because I know that a number of Geeknights fans have an interest in game theory, I thought many of you would be interested in taking a look at this.
The article can be found
hereIt's a lengthy read, but it's one of the most interesting discussions on randomness in gaming that I have yet come across. I imagine many of you will find it a good read.
