I have enough monies. So begins the precipitous spending of all of my summer job money on video games and books. At least I save $10 and the time it would take to download.
I had the Shale DLC insert with my pre-order, not entirely sure if it added that much but may still buy the other DLC for future attempts.
I didn't pre-order and the copy I got still have a code to get Shale and the armor for free. I imagine this will encourage people to buy new copies instead of the used ones.
Shale is my favorite character. He's a magical HK-47 and I'm OK with that.
Anyone not playing the Dragon Age flash game is making a mistake. It's a solid strategy RPG on it's own AND you get free DLC.
I would neglect my girlfriend as well if offered the chance to sleep with an attractive woman who would teach me how to dual-wield swords the morning after.

Teeeheeeheee. :3c Snicker, snicker.

I don't see how a single cost-less DLC should be reason to buy it. Example: Valve DLC has all been free. Also, I hear Mass Effect is better, which I have yet to play.
The free DLC is the chocolate shavings on an already rich and and wonderful Bioware creation. Don't buy the game for the free stuff; but if you've already got the game, enjoy the effort they put into the extras. I think it's neat that playing a game on my PC gets me something on my 360, and technically speaking it's 3 cost-less DLC's.
I'm pretty sure the Dragon Age setting was once someone's D&D campaign. It's got the level of familiarity but tweaked just enough.
Mass Effect and Dragon Age are on the same level of great games. Game play and graphics are similar: radial attack menus, switching between squad members, annoyingly intelligent AI... If you like swords and magic, Dragon Age is the cooler game. If you're into auto-shotguns and psionics, Mass Effect FTW!
Spoilers:I know Shale is a "she." I really didn't see that coming.
I love that Templars are drug addicts controlled by the church. I thought that was a nice twist.
I can draw similarities between what the humans did to the elves in Dragon Age and what the humans did to beat down the other aliens in Mass Effect. They cheated.
So I'm reading through the basic guide that comes with the game. It reminds me of WoW a bit, but WoW was my first RPG for most part so I can only really base things off of that.
I think I might start off as an elf warrior. I want to play it tonight, however I'm afraid that I'll play too much and am planning to play this on the weekend.
Reaver unlock! SPOILERS: Go to Redcliffe and start the quest there to defend the town, then speak with the people in the castle, head to denerim for the next step, then head to Haven, go through the dungeon you get to after Haven until you get to the Urn. Take the option to destroy the contents of the urn then head outside to get the Reaver Specialisation as a rewards.
Doing this will cause Leliana and Wynne to leave your party and attack you.
Balls! I wonder if there's a way to do it after you've already made your choice in that part. The consequences wouldn't have been too bad for me, since that whole arc was the first thing I did.
I think I did things slightly out of the intended order. I did all of Redcliffe (including Haven, the first chunk of Denerim, and all that jazz) first, then I did Orzimmar, then the Circle, and now I'm on to the Elves.
EDIT: Also, does anyone know if there's a way to turn off helmet display? I've got some great helms that all look like shit and don't match the rest of my armor.

It wasn't on sale over the weekend. I called and apparently the sale started today. I'm happy I waited. =3

Buy some swords, supplant the digital temptress.

@Vhdblood: Thanks. I'd have never though to do that.
