Is this the most powerful and ludicrous video card on the planet? No, certainly not. It's not going to be breaking any benchmark scores. However, I do predict it will get a crap ton of sales. This is why.
It's cheap as all hell, under $100.
It's a DirectX 10 card, and while it isn't going to get super high fps with everything cranked all the way up, it will certainly play games like L4D2 well enough for just about anybody. At my monitor's resolution of 1680x1050 it can do almost 60fps in L4D2. That's with a bunch of anti-aliasing cranked up.
It takes only one slot, not two like some stupid monstrous cards out there.
It doesn't require any additional electricity inputs.
It has DVI, VGA, and HDMI outputs. Hook up your HDTV with this baby.
If you're a crazy gamer, this card is not for you. If you're a normal person who wants to play a game or two, and your computer is getting a little stale, but it still has a PCI-x16 slot, this is the winner.
