Questions Episode 2010

Because I'm feeling inspired, and because of our extended hiatus, I feel inclined to indulge another questions episode. It's been a while, they're fun for us, and they appear to be fun for all of you.

So, either email (geeknights@frontrowcrew.com), post, or whisper your questions for us. Submit your questions to Google Moderator: we will not look elsewhere for them. This is the official thread. Rather than a set theme or focus, ask us anything, either about us or about something else: advice, technical questions, anything. My one caution is to only ask interesting questions.

    How about we use Google Moderator instead? This not only lets you submit questions, it also lets you guys vote on the priority order of the questions as opposed to leaving it to our arbitrary decisions.

    I just realized a fatal flaw in Google Moderator. I have multiple Google accounts, therefore I can vote multiple times. I guess it's fitting that my vote counts twice on my own Q&A, but still.

    I read it for fun in middle school. It is also available on librivox for those that utilize audio books.
    It is such a well known, frequently reviewed book that a book club and GN podcast on it would be somewhat pointless.

    I read it after I watched Gankutsuou. Don't underestimate me.

    If I remember correctly, they're trying to get people who don't read to read more. If you would read that book for fun, you're not in the book club's target audience.

    I think I have the opposite problem. I'm reading it now because of Rym's recommendation, but it's hard for me because it's long and I'm an adult. So, as a result I've been reading it off and on for six months now, and still have 1/4 of the book left to go. It's probably my fault for going the cheap route and reading it all online, when I really prefer reading an actual book.

    Hey, I take offense at that statement. I haven't even reached the voting age yet, and just barely the driving age! But in all seriousness, I agree. Other people of my age seem to have the attentions spa- BUTTERFLY!

    With atheism becoming less of a cultural stigma here in the United States, and more moderate religious groups gaining in popularity and against the more "fundamentalist" ones, How do you think this will effect the overall mindset of modern America in relation to educational practices and the schooling of young children, particularly in regards to the sciences?

    Questions for both of you:

    You like anime and books. Do you read light novels? Particularly the one some anime are based of off. Like Slayers or Haruhi.

    Did you ever improve yourselves to become who you are today or is it just accumulation of all your life experiences?

    What was your favorite moment at a convention?

    Can you describe your style? Fashion that is.
