Sidebar Ads

I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread about the sidebar ads. Some of them pique my interest, especially the current one.

The Secret of Invisibility

It seems they're selling a book that basically teaches you "Astral Projection". It helps you convince yourself that you're invisible. That's what I got from Google anyways.

    There are sidebar ads? Oh right, I forgot that I use adblocker.

    GeekNights does not endorse any of those ads. In fact, from the sounds of it I anti-endorse the one you speak of because it is Randi bs. I could pick and choose which ads appear there, but it's easier to let it just be automatic. Also, we get barely any money from it.

    Yeah, and anyone with a modicum of intelligence won't be fooled and will simply have a good laugh. Or they will turn adblock back on, if they ever had it off.
