I came across this interesting story on digg, I guess it's more a blog post then a story, but regardless. I found it an interesting read, and very well thought out. I figured people here would probably enjoy reading it too, and perhaps discussing it as well.

Yeah, I second that. A quite good read. I particularly like his paragraphs on "The Extension Effect". It's very true: you don't even realise that you're pressing buttons. Heck, I consider this typing to be a normal extension of my body. I hate being away from a keyboard for more than a couple minutes.
