Neither of these two things are cabinents positions.
Are you suggesting that cabinet members have zero impact on policy?
Could you just admit that you didn't understand what was said in the speech. You can relax thought, I was listening to a few other people talking on the radio (on NPR no less) who missed the point as well. Obama said when he started to appoint Cabinet positions that he might choose a few lobbyists but that he would fully disclose who they had worked for before (and explain that he needed that particular person). The amount of lobbyists working IN the government has been reduced SIGNIFICANTLY and what he said in the speech was true. (and it's not like it was hidden).
