  • How about Doraemon? Is he furry or rubbery?

"all anthro artists aren't furry porn artists!"
You know, I much prefer the phrasing "Not all anthro artists are furry porn artists". The other, to me, implies that there aren't any anthro artists that are furry porn artists.

Fixed. Yup, that was rather inarticulate on my part.
As my seniors would say "Stront voorop".
Crap before? He tagged along while we were shopping in the dealers room at CTCon.
  • Crap before?
Shit up front. It refers to the person first referring to themselves before others. It's a matter of manners. I've been taught to mention myself last. In that example the 'proper' way as I've been told would be "You, Rym and I, blabla".
    No, I'm just that GOOD.

  • I said that.
  • I'm going to recomend the webcomic Freefall. It's a sci-fi comic set on a new colony world that's still under the process of being fully terraformed. The main character, Florence, is the ship's engineer for a crackpot of a captain that gets by doing odd-jobs. While the comic is generally light in tone--a little action here, a bit of comedy enough to make you chuckle here--it's the issues discussed that make me come back again and again.

Only one furry character, the genetically-engineered Bowman's Wolf, Florence, but well-worth reading. Other cast members include one alien, and a lot of robots and humans. There is a running subplot about how both the robots and Florence are technically property, how sapience can develop in things that might not have been designed to be such, and how humans, be they corporate drones or regular folk, adapt to these changes.

How about Broken Plot Device by the wonderful Lizard Beth.

  • I enjoyed this one once upon a time. Not completely anthropomorphic, as there are human characters co-existing with the animal ones. It doesn't look like new issues/strips are being published anymore, but TPBs are available.

Liberty Meadows is pervy, but only in regards to the human characters. :) Frank Cho can draw his ass off, too.

I love that it was like a game to him to slip stuff under the radar when he still was working for newspapers. There are so many naughty Brandy jokes in that strip even before he threw in the towel and became an independent artist. He really is good, though. I remember his Christmas strip one year was this huge intricate drawing of Brandy as a southern Belle, to "test out his new pens."

I think Cho has gone on to do more T and A work in the comic industry.
