Google TV

So Google announced the Google TV today. I'm pretty unimpressed, honestly. It seems like nothing compared to Boxee, which already has a Box in the works.

Thoughts? Will this be the best set-top-box option, or will it be down at the bottom of the list like the Apple TV?

    What would happen if Google just bought them and made Boxee part of Google TV? That seems like a more likely outcome at this point.

    Seems more like a widget then anything else.
    It's also trying to jump into the market quickly as Microsoft's partners are releasing its Media Center boxes soon.

    It doesn't affect me as I use media center on my main PC and even though my monitor is only 30" it's fine to watch the shows I want, plus all my advertisments get deleted automatically.
