Here is an interesting video I've found where this guy is explaining how to play Warcraft III using hand gestures and audio commands on a tabletop surface. And I might as well throw in a video of Starcraft being played with a touchscreen. I thought it might appeal to you all.

Random coincidence. I tried to play Warcraft 1 today, it didn't work so well running in Windows XP without any emulators in-between.
