  • Do this in September, and I can come too.
  • You guys should set up laptops to the PA system so the rest of us can join in via Skype :p
Is it possible for Sonic to DJ over Skype?

In keeping with the title of this thread, how about we have a dinner in NYC composed of forumites and any FRC types who wish to join in the obvious bacchanalia that will most likely result from this gathering?
That's a really fucking good idea. Like Rym, I'm going to look into this, and have a few words about to a few friends. Worse comes to worse, we're doubling up on information, but hey, I might be able to sort out a deal of some kind, you never know. All the shmoozing has to pay off sometime, right? I'll put out some feelers.

Shoutcast would be infinitely better, with people chiming in via skype, but yes.

I second this, Chicago is good too.
  • I have an idea: why don't we go and meet up at a NAVA gathering some time? It is in Clifton, NJ and there are several places to eat in the surrounding area, plus retro video game tourneys is never a bad excuse to do something while meeting new people.
  • My city is basically a hub so NYC is fine for me.
Don't let Rym push you around, our city rocks!

My city is a shit-hole, so NYC is fine for me.

You live in DC too, George?
  • Not exactly, but in the metro area.
  • Before we decide where to eat, I think we should get an understanding on what our financial situations are and how much we are willing to spend on a night out together.
  • In terms of logistics, the biggest advantage of Chicago is that we have two major hub airports, space for everything, and we're about equidistant from both coasts. Also, the city is huge and there's no shortage of different cuisines and stuff to do.
