TED Talks to show your friends
We all have our more inspirational TED talks; those we personally enjoy and those we preferentially share with others.
I would like to start a collection of posts on everyone's favourite TED talks. To say that we have favourites in this amazing series is to cheapen all others you do not mention, I acknowledge this. To that end, I would like to start by hearing which lectures people show to others most frequently.
Ramachandrans talk was the first talk I saw and since then I was addicted. He is concise, eloquent, humorous and his eureka moment was brilliant.

I purchased Mccandless' book a few weeks before I saw this episode and believe it is one of my most read coffee table books currently. During idle moments I find myself re-reading it regularly and recommend his book whenever I can.
