Taylor's Greater Fantasy Novel Title Theory

edited September 2006 in Everything Else
After much research and investigation, I feel that it is now safe to present my theory. My theory states that if you can think of a name for a fantasy novel, it most likely already exists. This theory applies mostly to titles in the vein of the "blank" of "blank, "blank" of "blank", or any pair of words with add on's such as "the", "and", "of", "by", or similar words. To verify my theory, you can test my methods. Go to amazon or some website with a large library of novels that can be browsed. Use any word that sounds like it would have a place in a fantasy novel. Some of the words that I have tested include thief, blood, fire, dagger, sword, path, trail, death, prophecy, and spirit. Try it out for yourself.
