I really want to buy Settlers of Cathan, but i fucking live in Brazil !
There is a translated version of it in Portuguese but cost like US$88,00, so i want to buy it from the USA. Since Amazon won't ship here i really need a store or vendor that could ship it here.

    There are services that Essentially are a US postbox, and you have American online services like Amazon ship to them, and then they ship from there to you - I don't know any off the top of my head, but I know they exist.

    What? really? If you do it I would like to pay some money, to a geek nights fund or something... They have a Portuguese version out, but it cost US$88,00 and it's aimed towards Portugal not Brazil.

    I don't know yet, I'm starting in german board games, Settlers is the Geek Nights' approved first step. if I really get into it and got the money like you said, I might do it...

    There's also BrettspielWelt.. Has Dominion and Settlers... In German. I used it for a bit when I was really into Dominion, until I realized that the best strategies usually involve <5 action cards and the rest money.

    I just ordered Jungle Speed and the expansion off Ebay. Get gouged in the shipping but it's so hard to find stuff like that here. The two online stores I usually use are both out of stock.

    You mention Jungle Speed so often, I figure it must be good.

    Sweet, that's what we will have. I was hoping it wasn't going to be 8.

    I haven't read the rules yet, but got any tips? Maybe a few things that are not in the rules that you learn by trial and error? Like you are supposed to play on the floor right? And I remember Rym and Scott talking about the totem and if someone is too close you just knock their hand. Stuff like that would be good to know =)
