Is this worth it at the cost? I mean, I know it's going to be a shit projector, but if it's even of mediocre quality, I'd pull the trigger for $30 if only to maybe use it for some old video game consoles. Would like to know someone who has actually seen one function in person though.

I've seen micro projectors like this before. You'll have to put the projector relatively close to the wall and make the room really dark to be able to see.
