Colorful

No, not the pervy anime from a decade ago, but a movie released last year in Japan, based on a best selling Young Adult novel by Eto Mori. Colorful was one of the first novels I ever finished reading in Japanese, when I was over there in high school. It's about a soul who wins the lottery and gets to go back to Earth to inhabit the body of a 14 year old boy who committed suicide. Has some pretty dark themes, but overall, a very hopeful and frequently very funny book. My dad told me he saw trailers while he was over there this summer, so I checked it out and the anime looks like it might be good too.
