I was not allowed video games as a child . . . so my initial console experiences were at friends houses with the Atari and NES.
My first real game was Sim City 2000 for the computer moving quickly upwards towards Unreal, Starcraft, Thief . . . some others. Sadly my first counsel console I actually had was a Play Station in college . . . strictly for DDR.
Columbus Day of 1992, I was in second grade and my dad bought me the Nintendo Entertainment System Challenge Pack, which included two controllers and a copy of Super Mario Bros. 3, it was awesome. I'm a Nintendo fan ever since.
The first videogame I ever played was Pitfall on the Atari 2600, my parents never bought me any consoles but I had a cool young (at the time) uncle who has owned every console, that's where I played the Atari, then he got a NES and I got the Atari for myself, after that I convinced my parents and they got me a Gamboy.
My first system was a Game boy Color and a copy of Pokemon Blue back when I was six before we went on vacation. One or two years later, I convinced my family to get the PlayStation.
