Ross Campbell anyone?
Hey has anyone read anything by Ross Campbell? He did Wet Moon (character/relationship driven comic about art students in the south), and recently he released The Abandoned with Tokyo pop. (A zombie comic starring a chubby black lesbian heroine) I like his stuff a lot, but it's fairly slow paced.
Also from an industry perspective, The Abandoned is the first non-amerimanga American comic Tokyo pop has released. The move makes sense for Campbell because he generally doesn’t do much color. His work also appeals to a wide audience, particularly girls.
I’m just wondering if anyone else has stumbled upon him.
