Ayako by Osamu Tezuka

edited April 2011 in Manga/Comics
Has anybody picked this up, yet? I'm not seeing any discussion for this relatively recent Vertical release. It came out in a glorious hardcover last November, which I only managed to snag a few weeks ago. I haven't gotten too deeply into it but it's looking like it'll be a pretty good read. Less than five chapters in and there has already been plot twists galore! I dropped full price at a Borders (25 bones) but you could pick it up from Amazon for ten dollars cheaper. So go get it, come on!

  • I read it.

And? Am I in for something great, middle-of-the-road, or should I burn my copy right now before it's too late?

It's middle of the road for Tezuka, which is still better than everyone else ever.
  • Hmm, I liked it less then Ode to Kirihito but more then Apollo's Song. I got to say the whole think was one of his creepier works though.
