Dell Outlet store

I was wondering if anyone had bought anything through the Dell Outlet store. I got a pretty good deal on an XPS 9100.
i7-980
12 GB of ram
1TB hard drive
ATI Radeon HD 5670
BR-rom/dvd burner combo

Total including shipping was $1700. I was wondering if anyone had had any problems with refurbished hardware bought through them.

    I've had problems with new Dell laptops, let alone refurbished stuff. But y'know, that's anecdotal.

    I haven't the foggiest why you paid for 12GB of RAM, though. Even my God-Of-Gods desktop, which runs any given game save the Cryses at full specs, has 4GB.

    Maybe, but Rym and Scott still approve all new users. Dunno if one would actual bother waiting to get approved.

    The system was prebuilt. The only option you could really choose from was the length of the warranty and some extra software you could buy.

    To be fair, I did ask why he got 12GB of RAM. But he did ignore a pretty serious accusation.

    Sorry that I wasn't clear in my previous posts. My second post was indeed in response to WindUpBird asking why I bought so much ram. And no, I am not a bot or in any way affiliated with Dell. I was just wondering if anyone had had any bad experiences with refurbished computers. Sorry for wasting your time.

    I've never bought a refurbished computer. Always either new or hand built.
