The GeekNights Windows Phone 7 App I wrote has been certified and published into the Marketplace. Definitively turned out to be a good way to learn the platform.
Now that the Mango update is being pushed out to phones I'll look into making a Mango version (time permitting.)

I'm not sure about iPhone, but I know it (the podcast, not the app) already works in iTunes, because that's what I use to download it. *confused*

Apple is very guarded against podcasts having their own apps. They changed the rules a while back. You need to have some serious functionality outside providing access to the podcast and its show notes/forums in order to get your app approved. Otherwise they'll say it is competing directly with iTunes and deny it.

You should just see if Scrym would let you make a mobile version of the site that looks like that and make everyone happy.
