Fanart from Emily and Rym's visit to
Japan
. Hope nobody cares that I have no experience in shading.
Also, Rarity is best pony.

You lost me at the lies of Rarity being the best pony.

That's not how that meme works Ro. Bad Ro, bad!
Nice job on the art.

It'd be nice if there was a matching Tetsujin-28 pose.

This rustled my jimmies in a good way. Good job despite the shading.

It lacks bunny ears, need to add it to make it authentic.

I like the reference to the old soviet-style "Get off my internets" shirt.

I don't think that was intentional. I think it was merely that he took the pose of the robot. Also, nice work on the drawing!

@gomidog
You know what's funny, if you look at the
original image
, the arm of the inflated Mazinger is slouching. It was supposed to be pointing upward towards the sky. So the robot is posing with Rym, not the other way around.

@gomidog(again)
Ok, I JUST found out you're Emily. So you probably already knew all that. Whoops.

Yup, I was the one who took that picture! We were at the animation exhibit at the Kyoto Eigamura Park.
