Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1

So this animated feature came out this month. Scott and Rym gave a glowing review of the comic in a 2007 podcast so I'm wondering if they have any thoughts. It only covers the first two issues though, so no Joker nor Superman. The inner monologues are missing too, which is a damn shame.

According to this review (http://www.newsarama.com/film/dark-knight-returns-part-one-review.html), they say the lack of inner monologues and stating that the movie takes place in the 1980's really hurts it. My expectations have been tempered.

So it is about him fighting the leader of the mutants? That is pretty cool. Do we see Carrie Kelly (IMO the worst Robin).
