Not GPL is one thing (MIT and some other licenses are even less restrictive) - but "all rights reserved" is another thing entirely. Fortunately, it looks like they're just trying to avoid the possibility of someone taking their game and trying to sell it as their own without adding any value.
That's good. I wonder if they plan on licensing the platform so it can be distributed and how they will handle it. I couldn't find it at this moment but read somewhere some of the pieces/cards were taken somewhere else with permission because of time restraints.
