Rym - finally your long hoped for internet military defence force is just around the corner mate. Britain and New Zealand are creating an alliance to defend the internet and cyberspace, the two countries foreign ministers announced in Auckland today.

    Didn't the US already have the US cyber command as part of the Air force?

    They are defending their own networks, which most countries are already doing. We need someone to defend the Internet worldwide. For example, such a force would already be at war with China and would be actively attacking the great firewall in attempts to disable it.

    If the Internet defence force was its own independent worldwide entity, what are they going to do about it? Very few people who know anything about technology will be on the wrong side.
