Apparently latitude shut itself off on my phone sometime in novemberish, or I'd post my own. As it is, I'd just be showing you where I work.

Latitude is dead like reader. I saw this coming a zillion miles away. I'm going to look for alternatives.

Google just brought Voice support back to Hangouts, so I don't really see that happening anytime soon.

I think they'll minimize voice over time nonetheless. Remove all of the features except for outbound calling to phone numbers.

Looks like it will keep the location history for the foreseeable future, which at least is what I primarily use it for.

If you read the whole article, latitude isn't dead, they're just rolling the features into the G+ app. You'll be able to share your location with circles, so they're doing away with the shitty friend list that didn't work anyway.

Well, great. The only thing I used it for was occasionally checking people's locations. Now that functionality will be gone. But to be honest, I used it a few times a year. I'll live without it.
