As for game 1, I think I'm pretty much locked in to second thanks to pence's luck with pampas (4 pampas!?). For some reason I had thought the top two would advance to the next round, but I just checked and it turns out this means I'll be knocked out. This didn't really affect my play, though, so it's not a big deal.
It's also rather unfair that game 1 has five players and game 2 has three. This actually makes a big difference in a couple of ways - it's easier for people in game 2 to win, and it's also easier for them to get higher scores for the tiebreaking criteria.

Well, it wasn't supposed to be so even, but players dropped out. I think the srs bizness of the grand prix was lost long ago. Just play some Hacienda.
Clarification! Do I get one turn and then scoring, or do we all get the same number of turns? I mean is this my last go, or do I have one more after this?

This is your last go, the game ends at the end of this round.
Ok, I can't create games for you or anything. Play the finals, then I will tally up the final score and let the grand prix go out with a whimper. After that we should just play some Hacienda and such.
Yeah, we just happened to both be at the keyboard for two or three stretches of time this weekend, so there were a few occasions we just played in real time.

I think I played quite well in my game of Hacienda, but the current situation definitely confirms my thought that pampas is really strong.

Only 4 animals left so our game will be over soon.
*takes last turn*
Wow...I did not make the top two but had a nice time playing with you all.
I would like to play in the final, but under Scott's current plan it will be a 1v1 game with the winner of game 2.
Also, judging by what's going on in game 2, I think everyone in game 1 is better at Hacienda than everyone in game 2.

I'm also down for more multiplayer Hacienda just for fun.
