Linux Emulators

edited October 2006 in Video Games
Hey all,

So a while ago there was a discussion about emulators for the Mac and how they're, well, not. Much was said about Linux emulators however, and I have an Ubuntu box that I'm playing on which I would like to get going with such NES, SNES and Neo-Geo goodness.

Any recommendations? Things with .deb packages would be nice, but I think I can struggle through some hot ./configure and make action... :)

  • There are tons of emulators for Linux. I highly reccomend fceu for NES, ZSNES or SNES9x for SNES, PCSX for playstation and Dgen for Genesis. There are lots of them.
