At this point I'm just waiting for the 4DS. I was smart not to buy the DSi, and I'm smart to avoid the New 3DS. Just like I've been wise to only get iPhone 3,4,5,6,7 and avoid 3gs, 4s, 5s, etc.
Yeah I mean even though I have one I wouldn't recommend one. I had a buddy not too long ago ask if he should get one and I said "probably not". Personally I wanted the nub for Monster Hunter and I wanted to play Xenoblade. Then they decided to put SNES VC games only on New 3DS for whatever reason. So it's worked out for me having only payed a bit of money to essentially "upgrade". But I also sold it right as the New 3DS came out, so it might be tougher to sell now, but I sort of doubt it. People still buy iPhones on eBay and Craigslist for way too much money.
While not interested in pokemon past the first 2 generations. I was a big fan of a very minor change made in Pokemon GO and extended upon in Sun/Moon. The little change in how you choose your avatar. Gone is the age old and terrible question "Are you a boy or a girl?" In it's place is "Choose your style" - Pokemon Go and "Choose your passport portrait" - Sun and Moon.
Minor change, means nothing to most people. Means the world to some. Big Fan.

For now.
Anyhoo, I might actually get in on this gen if I can find a cheap 3DS soon. Otherwise I'll wait for a holiday sale.

In other news, this game is literally unplayable:
EDIT: problem solved
Riding around on Rocket-Tauros is fucking awesome.
The "intro" section was entirely too long.
I can't wait for Decidueye.
