  • The forum works surprisingly well with the Wii browser. I'm using it right now. I must say I do have complaints, but typing a lot with this thing sucks balls.
  • I Googled "Wii USB" and there's a lot of talk of people wanting a keyboard for the USB jack. I bet they'll make one sooner or later.

I want one too, and there is no need for them to "make" a keyboard for the USB jack. USB keyboards and mice are cheap and plentiful. It would be trivial to allow the Wii to use any standard USB human interface devices (HID). I guess they are just going to continue the longstanding trend of putting expansion ports on their systems and barely using them. The obvious solution is to give third parties more access to the system. Right now it seems like third parties are only allowed to make games and Wiimote attachments. I highly doubt Nintendo will do it, because they never have in the past, but it would be an easy way to unleash the full potential of the Wii very quickly. Imagine how many channels we would have available if all the developers could make whatever they wanted.
  • Well, By 'making' them, I meant what you mean. Sooner or later, they should allow them, even if only from certain 3rd parties.
  • For everyone's information, tabbed browsing for the Wii is now beta testing. Go try it!

  • God, this is awesome.
  • If anyone gets a Mii that's named "Logan" and has a blue shirt on with dark, long blond hair, you might have a vague understanding of what i look like. I also made a Saddam Hussein Mii. Mii parade ftw!
  • Come on people, add me.

While flipping through the manual the other day, I could have sworn I saw something about using keyboards with the Wii. I saw it in there or in the system preferences menu.
