This is hands down the funniest thing I have read today.
Why is that funny? That stands for Fort Rucker. I know because I live near it. What did you think it meant?

I've been to D.C. on more than one occasion, and I know better than to leave the touristy areas... And how hard can you defend a city that re-elected a mayor that had to leave office after getting caught (and arrested for) smoking crack with a hooker in a hotel room?

  • UPDATE

I have now registered myself for 1 year of school exchange. I'm am going to be in the North East (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey Delaware) of the US. I have not yet signed any contract and still have to go to some interview to see if I'm "ready" or "able" to go. As a side note, it's 300€ less if I find my own guest family... ^^
  • Congrats!
  • Sounds good! I would definitely recommend the Northern East Coast area, New England and such. The Coastal areas tend to be more diverse and receptive to other cultures, or so I have heard. As a former high school exchange student I say "Good Luck!"
