Until Sony can throw us some powerhouses, and I mean a shitload, Microsoft and Nintendo will continue to wipe the floor with them.
Sony should have just held back on attacking the weak spot for massive damage for a few years and instead have waited for their heavyweights to finish developing. I'm sure a starting lineup consisting of MGS4, Resistance: Fall of Man, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, GTA 4 (as much as I hate the franchise), Guitar Hero 3, Lair, Heavenly Sword, FFXIII, Resident Evil 5, Assassin's Creed, and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction would have made that 600 buck price tag look much less intimidating.
Give the PS3 time. I have a feeling that once the developers learn to use the PS3's power to its full potential we're going to see some unbelieveable things from that system, things that couldn't possibly run on an Xbox 360.
We all counting Blu-ray out at the beginning (including myself) and we were sure HD-DVD would win...but things have certainly changed since then. PS3 could end up doing the same thing.

Hell, by then, maybe the Xbox780 will be out, and it will all be moot.
I'm thinking by holiday season 2008 PS3 will be at, or near the top.
I would bet quite a bit that it won't be. By then, the Wii will be getting its third wind from the first party titles, Xbox Live Arcade will be well into its stride (nevermind that all of the hardware issues with the 360 will have long been a memory by then), and PCs will be vastly faster than the PS3.
Regardless of what Sony tries now, it'll be too little too late. While they were floundering, Nintendo and Microsoft were gaining steam, and by the time anything worthwhile on the PS3 is out, the 360 and Wii will have several times that.
Here is the form to get your free Blu-Ray movies when you buy a PS3.The way they position the choices is cruel. They must really not be marketing to me at all. I don't care about a single movie offered in that.
Blazing Saddles and Invincible are the only movies on there that are any good. I point out that neither of those movies gain much by being in HD. Is Mel Brooks somehow funnier if you can see the pores on his nose?

Even Casablanca was better in HD. You'd be surprised!
I just got back from Best Buy with my new PS3. Of course I don't have any games, but at least it will up-convert Resident Evil 4 so I can finally finish it.

What?! How can you not like Blazing Saddles?
Now if only we could see Arnold punch a camel in HD.
Please tell me waht you think about it.
