To One Sin: that was the biggest laugh I've had all weekend (the PS3 image) and I haven't posted in weeks.
On topic: I plan to pick one up this Thursday as I need a console to simply entertain me after a hard day of work and early evening classes. I tend to go for the system which has the best enjoyment/cost of ownership ratio and despite it's flaws the Wii wins hands-down.
I'm not a IT professional like the hosts or have a salary where I could own all three consoles and thus make a more rational statement but if you simply want to be entertained in multiple ways for little expense (compared to the other consoles) then I would say go for the Wii. Graphics aren't an issue as long as the gameplay is high-quality.
Using your N64 to level out your wobbly couch doesn't count as playing it.
I guess this is kinda sad, but I use my N64 and SNES combined more than my DS, GBA, GameCube, and PS2 combined. Then again, I have Star Fox and Mario Paint to entertain me.
