The PSP 2000 (aka Slim).

In my quest to have every platform for which they are currently making games, I picked this up today:

The Wii is the only thing I'm missing now.

    Well...Daxter does look fun. Plus I do like some of the PSP games but I see the DSers having so much more fun...wah.

    I have played 1 PSP.

    And by played, I mean waited fo it to load. And then I gave up and played my DS.

    I've been trying to buy a Wii since they came out. They are still constantly sold out in Cleveland. The day I walk into a store when it's in stock is the day I buy one. The new PSP has faster load times (or so I'm told). We'll see.

    Wow, you're unlucky. Here in Austin they got some at our local game store, the Game Crazy, and the Game Stop. Used.

    You know what? I'm gonna plan that, too.
    I will sell my Gamecube and Gameboy SP. I donn't play the SP much anymore, I only use it for the GameBoy Camera, and the GameCube games work on a Wii.

    Wow, this sounds like when I tried to get my GameCube, except I didn't sell any systems. Only all my Pokemon games...

    Oh, Thaed, why don't you get a wii off ebay?

    Austin is a really cool place to live. I really enjoyed visiting there last year. I guess I haven't taken the time to look on eBay. I suppose I could, but I'd rather just buy it retail.

    Yes it is! I love it here!
    eBay's really good, I've gotten some games off of there.

    BTW, does anyone know how much a GBASP or a GC will go for?

    Totally go to pawn shops. Easiest and fastest way. ^_^ I also like to buy most of my games and consoles from there - I'm so rough on most of my game systems that it makes no sense to buy new ones.. especially portables stuff. Like my poor, poor, scratched up, one-hinge-broken, ugliest thing the in the world DS. XDD

    I got a PSP-2000 today for free, a friend bought it when he broke my old PSP.

    Well I'm happy I still have my Porn-Station Portable. ;)

    When some of my friends were still in HS they called it that all the time. LOL.

    I've almost given up on my PSP...and do you want to know why? It's because the battery doesn't stay charged. I get the urge to play various games throughout the year and the PSP is the only system on which that urge requires me to plug in the PSP and wait for it to gain a little bit of charge. My DS can hold a charge for a good long while between play sessions. More than 2 weeks on the PSP and the battery is just totally dead. I'm not going to keep it plugged in all the time so unless there's a game coming or I'll be traveling and think I might want it my PSP isn't charged and ready to go, thus I never get to play it...

    I had gotten a PSP when they first came out. I sold it a while back because there were no games I wanted to play. I must say, though, now that there's a decent amount of games I'd like to play, I've been thinking about picking up one of these new ones.

    I pretty much kept the PSP because of the good selection it has in the realm of RPGs.

    It's the only portable device I know of that is a podcatcher and player all in one. You can connect to any wifi and subscribe to and download podcasts. I would buy a PSP for this feature alone if it weren't so got damn big.

    The PSP is one of my favorite gaming machines ever. I played it every single night in my last year of high school with my buddies in online games. T'was the business.
