I cheated and got 16/16 cause I don't care what the differences are. An image is an image.

I experimented on the first three to get a working theory, and then I got all the rest bar one right.
I distinguished them based on pixelation=gif and blurring=jpg.

Holy shit, I just had the best idea for a present ever.

For my girlfriend's birthday, instead of wrapping things, I'm going to make a Katamari center and string the things I'm getting for her to it with monofilament line, and then just wrap the thing in plain opaque paper. Fuck Traditional wrapping, or even funky/geeky wrapping paper - I'm going to make her a gift-katamari.
