  • [How Californians see America]
So true, the coffee in Portland is awesome.

Gonna learn how to do this so I can get all the ladies.
I used to do this, many years ago. Not quite as smoothly as this guy, but maybe with practice I'll get back me skills.
  • Can you tell us what it's called?

Wait, you mean this isn't edited in any way? HOLY SHIT!

He's just sliding on his shoes. You need to get the right angle, I guess.

I used to slide down stairs on my butt as a kid, I see no reason this shouldn't be possible.

And the right shoes on the right surface. You try doing that with any shoe that is at all grippy on the bottom and you're cruising for a multi-stair faceplant.

/it's still damn cool and makes me wish I had a staircase I could do that on...

Having big feet does help some. It's a wonder Omnutia doesn't use this as his primary mode of transport, dude has some serious feet.
  • I discovered it very young, not taught from anywhere. It isn't edited. You relax your ankles, and let your feet vibrate at the same rate as the stairs pass under your heels. I'd try it out today, but I'm currently in on a ship in north atlantic swells of the north coast of Iceland. And I have a show tonight. I'll try hurting myself tomorrow.

HOT TIP - High grip boots with lots of ankle support, not such a good idea, akchully. I think I have a concussion, but it went really well for the first half dozen stairs. I'll try it again tomorrow with sneakers.

I just love that your response to falling down the stairs the first time is to try again.
  • Bike helmet next time.

You'd have to attempt that if you did try it before your show and did hurt yourself it would make a great "Fail of the day" post.

Anyone who expected me to just give up doesn't know me at all.

I guess Harmonix redeems themselves after last weeks atrocious Nickelback dickfest. Next Tuesday on Rock Band: Creedence Fucking Clearwater Revival!

    "Bad Moon Rising"
    "Born on the Bayou"
    "Down on the Corner"
    "Fortunate Son (Original Version)"
    "Green River"
"I Heard It Through the Grapevine"
    "Lookin' Out My Back Door"
    "Proud Mary"
    "Run Through the Jungle"
    "Travelin' Band"
    "Up Around the Bend"
    "Who'll Stop the Rain"

I already got that cover version of Fortunate Son, which was one of the first DLCs for Rock Band and Up around the Band on GHWT, but whatever. This pack fucking rocks!

I have no idea what you are talking about. I mean, I think I have an idea, but you're not exactly clear about what I should do.
  • I would totally join up under Kefka. Best Final Fantasy villain ever.
  • I hail my eternal clown overlord.

My plan was pretty much "Concuss self trying till it becomes obvious" - Hey, it worked for Doc Brown.

Good thing my parents didn't have any issues, my house was not flooded and we have all services, just gotta help with the clean up, and a little water that got in my sister's car.
